Meeting, the Second My new friend Miran, a casualty of that first meeting of new friends, discovered I was unhappy at my (then) current job. At his suggestion, I decided to apply for a technical support position at a local ISP called Sprynet. In due course, I was accepted and entered into training. Then, one day on my way back from lunch, I stepped into the elevator and saw a tall, lanky, long-haired guy. He looked at me. I looked at him. And we simultaneously said, "You look familiar..." Well, it was nearly simultaneously. There couldn't have been more than 30 seconds between us both saying it... And thus were the events of the second meeting. |
